Pretty much this. Just dont field any defense and see which quaterback can throw it longer then the other. Whoevers arm falls off first is the loser.

And if the game becomes stale, I hear Puppy Bowl VI is going to feature Rabbit Cheerleaders and a blimp piloted by Hamsters.

Two Bandits? That'll be chaos. Maybe one of them should change their name to OchoCinco.

Lots of cute puppies, but I'm gonna go with Kiva:

I think Kiva will dominate when it comes to endurance.

I was really surprised last year at Abigail. She really came out with a lot of energy.

Read this article and had to comment.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdo ... nfl,217725

Quote:
Shortly before the kickoff of Super Bowl 44 on Sunday, a group of captains representing the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints will meet at midfield. Referee Scott Green will introduce the ceremonial coin and a member of the newly elected Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2010 will toss it to determine who gets the ball first. Saints quarterback Drew Brees(notes) will watch it spin into the Miami night and will call heads or tails.

And if he's lucky, he's wrong.

Really?

Quote:
Of the 43 Super Bowls, the team that won the pregame coin toss has won 20 times and lost 23, a .465 winning percentage, and has lost 10 of the last 13.

With the exception of the "10 of the last 13", a .465 winning percentage is pretty fucking close to .500 or 50%. Basically, it's statistically meaningless and pretty close to the 50/50 chance of winning any coin toss. If it were 70% or 90%, there'd definitely be some indication of bias, and the NFL might look into using random number generators. Luckily for the NFL, a traditional coin toss retains it's unbiased nature.

And what about the 10 of the last 13? Well so what? That means 14 games ago, the statistics were lopsided the other way and you had a supposedly better chance at winning if you had won the coin toss.

Goddamn this shit pisses me off. If Brees is lucky, the coin will fall and hit Peyton Manning in the eye, detaching a retina and thus putting him out of the game. Now that's luck.

Drew Brees is lucky enough. Peyton threw an interception in what was before then a rediculously accurate throwing game for both QBs.

Yay Saints!

Boo offseason. :(

Now its time to wait for the combine and draft day. Hooray for almost 5 months of no football!

I guess I could always start watching baseball or something.

I refused to watch any of it last night, but what I heard this morning was that the refs were exceptionally lenient toward the Satans.

Mark and Tim. You don't know them. They live and work in Minneapolis.

The officiating was fine in the Super Bowl. In fact I would go as far to say that it was some of the best I've seen in recent memory. There was nothing blatant not getting called and I wish we could have that sort of game all the time.

It might have also been that both teams were playing a bit conservatively in the game that led to that but you expect that when both teams are as explosive as the other.

I agree. There has been some epically bad officiating over the last few years, but the Super Bowl crew did a pretty good job. If I had to criticize anything, it would be that there was some pushing/shoving business going on at multiple points that went uncalled.

In particular, I remember Shockey taking a cheap shot and nailing a guy in the back after a play was over, but really both teams were doing it.

If Mark and Tim are typical Minneapolis football fans, you all are dead.

On my run tonight I stared longingly at a guy playing nerf football with his kids.
